Viewing Kennels - 11am - 12 noon and 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Inspection is very welcome but a telephone call to book an appointment must be done prior, due to our exercise routines.

Kennels
Our kennels are modern "Five star" luxury purpose-built accommodation blocks- double glazed, fully insulated and tiled throughout. There are individual interior kennels with wall-mounted 3 ft x 2 ft fibreglass beds in which we provide fleece vet bedding. Each individual kennel has all day access to an outside tiled weather-proofed covered run with insulated bench. We have larger kennels which have been designed to comfortably accommodate more than one dog from the same household who wish to board together.
Each block has electric thermostatically controlled heating and dehumidifiers to ensure warm dry conditions and year round comfort whatever the weather. Music is played in each block all day for company.
Staff
We have four full time kennel staff, all of whom have taken Animal Care courses. They have been carefully selected for their love of dogs and they always ensure there is time for exercise, play and one-to-one contact with the dogs in their care.
Exercise
Dogs are exercised lots in our various exercise areas dependant on the type of exercise required. We have a drying/grooming room with commercial dryers, to ensure your pet is dry when returning to his/her kennel after exercsing in wet weather.
Diet
We feed Pedigree Chum Complete (chicken and rice) plus tinned meat which suits most canine palates. However, if your dog has another favourite food or is on a special diet you are welcome to bring this and we will feed as per your instructions.
Medication
No pets can be accepted if suffering from any infection. However, if your dog is receiving medication, i.e. tablets, medicine etc.. this can be continued whilst staying at Meriroyles and will be administered by our experienced staff as instructed by your vet and recorded for your reference on our medication cards. |
